The project

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield owns, manages and develops a retail portfolio worth over 65 billion Euros. The Sound Agency first began working with Unibail Rodamco prior to its acquisition by Westfield on the flagship Mall of Scandinavia build, where we designed bespoke generative soundscapes to play in each “node” to compliment the centre’s stunning visual concept.

Following this, we were tasked with creating a centralised sonic identity across Unibail Rodamco’s European malls. In collaboration with our playlisting partners Open Ear, we designed a rich array of zonal content which now plays in over 50 URW malls. We continue to work with URW and update their malls’ content on a monthly basis.
